Great buy
I’ve bought 6 sets now and never disappointed. First 3 sets were different but complimentary. The last sets had matching pairs. They look like yarn art flowers and alpaca blend .

I am addicted to these things
So, I will be honest and say that I have ordered more of these than one person should (unless they have a business). I've ordered them one pack at a time (with other things) and sometimes 4 at a time. You could get almost anything. 100% cotton, cotton/acrylic, cotton/alpaca, or any of these with or without shine. (Yes, I did get cakes with shine! but only 2 out of more than I'd like to mention.) I have gotten a fair number of duplicates (which is good, because I am a large person so one cake doesn't always cut it) but only when I've ordered multiples at once. The vast majority are weight 1, maybe 2 if you are generous. All of the bags say 3, but only one set was actually weight 3. They are all super soft with good transitions, well caked, and well packed. I've had no problems using them for center pull, or combining cakes. Definitely a great deal. Especially if you are flexible on colors, doing 1 skein projects, or considering mosaic crochet. If you aren't into using size 1 or 2 yarn but love the colors and want to make the yarn thicker, you can also do the S curve technique to triple the thickness from a single cake. They still work up great and you can keep the transitions intact. :)
