I’ve used this yarn many times and have always found it to be great for making blankets. The yarn doesn’t split, it flows smoothly on my hook and the range of colors is fantastic. My finished products withstand the test of time. I recently saw a blanket I made for my son still being used after 21 years!

You can't go wrong with Red Heart yarn it washes well & holds its shape even after multiple washings!
I have used this brand for years. Always good!
As always, this yarn is dependably easy to work with and is, in my opinion, the best value for the money in acrylic knitting yarn. My go-to for washable projects.
This is the best yarn for me to use.
I have been using red heart yarn for over 50 years. The quality has always been there. It is very easy to use and the finished product always is nice. It washes well never fades. I will continue to use red heart for all crochet projects.
