Pattern isn’t well written
There aren’t any complex stitches in this project, but the pattern itself is not in the skill level EASY category. This is the third market bag I’m making. The first was a free pattern from Herrschners. The second was a free pattern from a blogger. I expect a pattern that I paid for to be more well written. I kept looking at the stitch chart trying to figure out what fi rst was an abbreviation for. Then I finally figured out that there are just random spaces in the word first, and it’s like that EVERY time the word first is used. There is a drawn diagram of the body pattern, but some pictures are needed. I frogged my project at row 6 once, and now I’m on row 8 just hoping I’m making this correctly. Row 1 states that there should be 22 chain 5 sps. It would be helpful if that was provided for rows 2 and 3, which get repeated as rows 4 to 53. Last comment…Lily Sugar and Cream (the yarn provided with the kit) is really hard to work with. My hands have to be absolutely dry and I have to powder them. Even so, the yarn seems to stick onto everything including each ridge of my fingerprint. I’ll avoid this yarn in the future.
