Very high quality, good value
These hoops are smooth beechwood, tighten well and hold your embroidery project taut until you decide to loosen it. This makes it easy to remove project and add the backing of choice, and then display. Brass screw at top needs a Phillip’s head screwdriver to tighten all the way.

Great quality
Great quality for the price! The 6" hoop I purchased is perfect for my needlework. I'll be using it for all of my other embroidery now, too. It holds with just the right amount of tension.
