Best worsted weight yarn
Caron Simply Soft has been my favorite worsted weight yarn for decades. It’s the softest worsted weight yarn I’ve ever used. I have crocheted for 6 decades and still Caron is the best. It has a nice sheen that makes it look like a silk blend. It’s smooth to work with. I recommend this yarn.

For an acrylic yarn that is not outrageously expensive, Caron's Simply Soft is hard to beat. Huge palette of colorways and so soft! My only complaint is that it can be quite splitty when crocheting with it.
