I really like this yarn as it comes in so many different colors and holds up well and doesn't split like some other yarns do while knitting. I've been buying this for quite some time and make afghans so I use quite a bit. This one pound size goes a long ways and I highly recommend it especially if you are doing a big project.

I use Caron Simply soft and Caron by the Pouns. I have crocheted for over 40 yrs and have lots of experience with many types/brands of yarn. I use Caron One Pound for my Christmas NICU donations. I have been doing this donation for 16 yrs. I work from January to October each yr and have quite a sizable donation.
