I have purchased many colors and while I have looked at other brands and tried a few, it is Aunt Lydia's that I always purchase consistently, because it is consistently a high quality and Herrschners often has the best price.

Nice mercerized 100% cotton crochet thread. Has a subtle sheen and is shinier than this brand was back in the 90’s. Hope the company keeps adding more solid colors.
Always use Aunt Lydia's crochet thread. Sad that I can't find very many variegated versions but it's still great thread.

Wish they still carried the red white and blue variegated.
Haven't had the chance to use the thread yet, but I am familiar with the Aunt Lydia brand and expect this to align with other crochet thread I've used. I gave a 4 star rating b/c I the color was a tad bit darker than what I was looking for.
I love this yarn . I make a lot of doilies and Aunt Lydias is the best. My doilies always turn out great. I have tried others but always come back to Aunt Lydias for my doilies and other crafts.
During my 50+ years of crocheting, I’ve used several brands of crochet thread. I prefer Aunt Lydia’s size 10 thread above other brands.
