Rugs/Placemats

I used this to make a throw rug for in front of my kitchen sink. It's nice and cushiony on my feet and I'm pleased with how it turned out. It's a little hard on the wrists/hands to pull as you stitch (I used a big crochet hook and single crochet stitches), but it works up nicely. I was so pleased with the rug, I just bought more to make some placemats for my son's new apartment.

Village Yarn Crafty Cord

I bought this tarn to make baskets. I love it!! It works up very quickly. My only suggestion would be not to use a metal hook as it can snag the cord. I will definitely be buying more. Because of it's spongy texture I've been inspired to make a rug. First time ever!

Crafty Cord

Purchased to make bags and purses. The colorway Smoke is really like a drab army greenish gray, not a true gray like I was expecting. Very easy to work with, my hook glides easily. PLEASE more colors.....

It’s better than T-Shirt yarn plus the price is great. Maybe in the future they will make more color choices but for now I would buy it again today and everyday!!!
