Several breaks per cake and inconsistent weight

I bought 9 of these cakes for a project and and very disappointed. The cakes were very tightly wound and I decided to re-cake them from ease of use. Not only is the weight inconsistent (similar to hand spun novice) but there were 11 breaks in one cake with large knots reattaching the ends. Two knots were less than 24" apart. I am extremely frustrated and won't recommend them yarn to anyone. It's only getting 2 starts because at least the colors were accurate and lovely. I will never buy it again.

Soho yarn

I love this yarn in the aspect of softness. It is not too difficult to work with. My main disappointment is how frequently I have areas within the cake where new yarn is added abs a knot is in my project that cannot be hidden. Sometimes there are 3-4 of these joining knots in a cake and they create eyesores for the project.
