I've been using this yarn for 20 years. My mother and grandmother had been using it for decades before that. It's reliable and looks good after many washes, assuming you are not too rough with it when washing it. The colors are the best. The thickness of the yarn is just right. It's very pleasant to work with. The price has gone up over the years. This is my go-to yarn for afghans.

Consistent Quality
I’ve used this yarn many times and have always found it to be great for making blankets. The yarn doesn’t split, it flows smoothly on my hook and the range of colors is fantastic.
