Kroy sock yarn

I ordered two colours one of which I had had difficulty finding at other stores/vendors. Thankfully I was able to find the colour I needed (Muslin) online at Herrschners.I received this advice from a stranger in a yarn shop who was also looking for a specific item. Her advice to me was to go onto the Herrschners site and I am grateful to her for this.

Paton's Kroy socks

This is my go to yarn for all the socks I knit. It is nice to have 2 new colors to choose from. I love how thick and warm it is and how it stands up to machine washing and drying.

The first sock yarn I ever used.

Many sock yarns have come onto the market now, but all in all, I like Kroy the best. I make both socks and leg warmers with it and they last forever, plus knit up well. I use a #2 needle for the socks, and #3 for the leg warmers. Love the yarn.

Patons Kroy Socks yarn blends the warmth of wool with the silky sheen of nylon to create the perfect sock yarn. Each ball contains 1.75 ounces (166 yards) of super fine weight sock yarn in a range of self-patterning colorways that create stripes and jacquard as you stitch. This machine washable yarn is perfect for socks, but also knits and crochets into warm and durable garments and accessories. Imported.
• 75% wool/25% nylon blend, #1 super fine weight yarn.
• 1.75 oz/50g/166 yd/152m ball.
• Machine washable. Imported.
• Crochet gauge, size D-3 (3.25mm) hook: 22 sc and 24 rows = 4" (10.2cm).
• Knit gauge in st st, size 2 (2.75mm) needles: 32 sts and 40 rows = 4" (10.2cm).
