Nob Hill Lofty Tweed
After finishing a large crochet swatch in hdcblo, I have a great impression of this yarn. The yarn texture is a flattened crimp-look yarn that is very pleasant on the hands to work with, but the stitches are hard to see. It’s listed as a 4 weight, though I’d say it’s a 3.5 at best. I used the 5.5mm hook, as recommended, and it produced a light and airy stitch. The crinkle texture in hdcblo gives the finished fabric a wonderful squishy texture that is perfect for the sweater I want it for. The colors of Sunlit, Soft Plum, and Fog are close to the online swatches. The yellow is a wonderful; not bright, but not mustard; it’s warm golden lemon. The Plum is light purple-pink-mauve. Fog is a perfect name- soft, light, hazy grey.
