Merry Tidings and Joy pillow cover set
The first thing I noticed when I opened package. The design was not its usual light color, it was a dark color. Normally when I buy Herrschners embroidery, the color is so light that it seems that as soon as I open it, the color starts to fade, no matter how much I protect the design. I end up using my fabric marking pen to trace pattern as I embroider. The color on these kits, the design color is dark which in my opinion is a lot better. I've been embroidering for a week, almost done with one pillow cover, design color still dark. I only wish all Herrschners kits were done in the dark color. The only other thing I changed, I prefer to use DMC embroidery thread. I appreciate that DMC color were also on direction sheet, otherwise I'd have to use my conversion chart. These pillow covered will be Christmas gifts. I hope to order more. Thank you.
