Jeweled trellis crocheted afghan

The are even prettier than they were in the picture. The thing I like about herrschner's Yarn is they have tags on the end of the yarn to pull to start crocheting. No more digging for the end of the yarn inside it.

Jeweled Trellis Crochet Afghan

This was one of the most unusual patterns I have done in over 40 years. The "trellis" effect of loops to join each strip took me awhile to figure out (YouTube), but once it was working, I got so caught up in putting them together...I did them in one sitting! Simple pattern to work once you get the hang of it.
