Get it!
If you're thinking about this afghan kit, get it! The pictures don't do it justice! The "dark brown" in the photo is actually a deep plum, and the golden color is more orange-gold. It's stunning! The pattern is tricky, but it becomes apparent why you're doing what you're doing once you start working on it, if that makes sense. To go from an abstract leaf to a square in one round is amazing. The writer of this pattern deserves a standing ovation! The patience required to develop it is something I would never have, but the results are incredible. My only complaint is that I wish the size of each square was in the pattern somewhere. It calls for an "I" hook, and I'm using an "E" according to the gauge, but my squares are turning out larger than I think they should be. Hopefully it all works out!:)
