Yarn worth less than what I paid
I paid $19 and got 4 skeins of solid red heart super saver, which you can get for $4. Not a deal at all whatsoever.

I have enjoyed ordering other yarn packs (bulky and self striping) from Herrschner's and decided to give this one a go. It wasn't what I expected at all. I received 8 skeins (4 colors, 2 of each) of regular Herrschner's worsted weight yarn in solid colors. The colors were fine and coordinate well, no problem there. But, I don't really think of that as a "famous maker," especially since they have their own item that's mixed Herrschner's yarn. The pack also included a pattern, but the pattern requires significantly more yarn than I received. The pattern calls for 8 7oz skeins of Redheart super saver. The Herrschner's skeins are half that size. So I have enough basic Herrschner yarn to make half of the pattern. Seems like a double let down for me. I guess it did let me try their standard solid worsted yarn. TL;DR The colors are fine, the weight was exactly 28oz, but it wasn't a famous maker or what I would consider an assortment. Included pattern wasn't thoughtfully chosen. Cannot be made with yarn provided. I'll likely buy my mystery packs from someone else in the future and stick to the self striping yarn pack, since that's always as expected.

I made a blanket with my yarn immediately.
I received Premier Eversoft in solid colors - cream, grey and mauve in their original bands - they coordinate well and there's more than enough to make a sweater . They're 5.3 oz. skeins and I received over 30 oz. of yarn. Very pleased and will certainly buy again
I didn't realize that Hershner's was a famous maker, but the yarn I received was beautiful and it matched so there was enough to actually make something. I thought it was great!
I really like this yarn alot. Made 2 throws and plan on using the rest of my purchase (which was 3 packs in total) for a garland. It's a nice quality of yarn and it's not that rough either. Maybe not a wearable for me, but perfect for other things I want to make.
I am very happy with what I recieved. I was expecting it to be random, but instead I recieved 6 skeins of the same Red Heart Soft variegated and one skein of Red Heart Soft in white. It came with a afghan pattern as well. I think it'll make a nice baby blanket.
This yarn is so soft and the colors I received were beautiful.
Well packaged.
I buy the variety packs to get different yarns for smaller projects and have received the same colors and yarn types in the last 3 orders to make several big projects needs more variety
