I am using this eyelash yarn to make leis, and it works beautifully! The sparkle is very subtle but also very fun, and the colors themselves are beautiful. The pictures online are very true to the real life colors. And the price is phenomenal!

Department 71 Sparklelash yarn takes eyelash yarns to the next level by adding hint of metallic for projects that shimmer. Each ball of this polyester/lurex bland yarn contains 1.75 ounces (103 yards) of light weight yarn in a range of eye-catching solid shades. It is perfect for making fashion accessories or using as an accent trim on projects. Make sure to hand wash your finished project to keep it looking its best. Imported.
• 87% polyester/13% lurex, #3 light weight yarn.
• 1.75 oz/50g/103 yd/95m ball.
• Hand wash. Imported.
• Crochet gauge, size I-9 (5.5mm) hook: 17 sc and 20 rows = 4" (10.2cm).
• Knit gauge in st st, size 7 (4.5mm) needles: 21 sts and 26 rows = 4" (10.2cm).
