Beautiful blanket that works up quickly!

I have never tried this particular stitch before, but it is very easy to learn and becomes quite meditative as I got into the habit of how it works. The yarn is a well known brand (Caron) and the skeins are large. The kit takes up a small amount of space (4 large balls) and has excellent, easy to follow instructions. The only stitch that could be a little challenging is the triple front post, which took me a few tries but I eventually got it. I am loving the way the colors naturally stripe in this pattern! It’s going great so far.

Floral Checkboard Granny Afghan

This afghan was a blast to create the diamond pattern. I didn't see it at first, and wondered what I was doing wrong. But, it took shape after a few rows. It uses alot of yarn and I had to order an additional skein to complete it.

Crochet blanket

I really like the stitch. It works up to a pretty pattern. The only negative was that each skein of yarn was in pieces, not continuous. Had to do a lot of cutting the knots and fixing.
