Bothy Threads

Bothy Threads began in 1996 in a small cottage or "bothy" in Northern England. After running out of new kits to stitch, founder Kate Golby began asking local artists if she could use their work as the basis for needlework designs.

Twenty-one years later, Bothy Threads uses the work of more than 20 artists and produces kits for more than 300 different designs. The company's whimsical designs often have small beads or charms to enhance the stitching.
