Kits make it easy

I have only just started on this project. The yarn is soft, and the pattern is easy to understand. Using a kit makes it easy to complete beautiful projects.

Yarn textures are different

I just started this and the pattern is easy to follow and it's stitching up pretty. However, the yarn is not all the same. They are all the same brand and fiber, but the tan is very thick and burlap-like and feels like a a heavier weight. The other colors are shiny and a bit slippery, like nylon or rayon. It's a bit odd. I think it will work out nicely at the end, though.
